Finally, I bought my tripod along and ended up getting a few good shots, but many were ruined. I'm not sure why many of the shots were not as sharp as they could have been, but I'm pretty sure it was because I forgot to switch off the lens stabilisation while the lens was mounted on the tripod. There's always next week. 😃
